6 And Saul said to (A)the Kenites, “Go, depart; go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them; (B)you showed lovingkindness to all the sons of Israel when they came up from Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. 7 So (C)Saul struck the Amalekites, from (D)Havilah as you go to (E)Shur, which is [a]east of Egypt. 8 And he seized (F)Agag the king of the Amalekites alive and (G)devoted to destruction all the people with the edge of the sword.
